This week on the podcast, the boys use a totally mature method to land on watching a classic 80's Soviet children's film that's got space ships, planet-destroying chemical weapons, hairy 4-armed archaeologists, time travel, dragons, magicians, screaming birds, the Baba-Yaga, and balls. Will we get swept away by all the hallmarks of Soviet cinema? Or will the movie convince us that there are those at the top who control the means of production and then there's the working class that enables those means by selling their labor power, so when there's conflict, the ruling class tries to blame the working class, and therefore we should believe the working class needs to revolt against capitalism and bring about socioeconomic emancipation?
